Bulgaria: Barley harvest completed by August 03 at 515,000 t

The barley harvest was completed by August 03, UkrAgroConsult published in its 31 weekly Black Sea Grain report of August 04. A total of 515,000 metric tons of barley was harvested by August 03, approximately 21,000 more than the projected level due to a higher average yield.

Barley was gathered in from 178,889 ha, or 99.83 % of the harvestable area. The country average yield was 2.88 t/ha, up 0.13 t/ha from the average projection of 2.75 t/ha dating from the end of June.
